"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds." 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

We believe in God's ability and desire to bring healing to our land. As the people of God we chose to be part of His plan to heal the land by touching and healing the hearts of the people who have been affected by violence. Our strategy is to respond to the senseless violence in our city by leaving the four walls of the Church and sharing the life and love of Christ in places where homicides have taken place. As Christians we understand that light must shine in the darkness. Jesus said, 'Go,' (Matt. 28:28-19) and let his disciples know that they were the 'light of the world,' (Matt. 5:14). We do battle in prayer, and we war by showing up and being a light where death has left its’ impression.

The Drive-By Prayer Vigil van leads a caravan of vehicles across the city, ministering to those who are mourning and in need. We are driven by God's heart to see wounds healed, hurting hearts comforted, and leave peace where there is chaos. The Bible tells us that God's presence is present when His people began to sing unto Him. When we arrive at the scene, we spend time in worship, inviting the healing presence of God to reside where death once thrived. We declare peace in the streets! We declare safety for our families! We declare life over death! We declare it all in the name of Jesus!

We have seen so many lives changed. We have seen communities strengthened. We have seen people encounter Love, and lay down their weapons of hate. Love is why we do what we do for our city, our neighbors, and our land.
